Morning all, it is so wet here I may need an ark, anyone who wants a place just let me know.
happy birthday fidget.
Enjoy Berlin Chicky, I used to visit when I lived in Holland. The wall was still up and it was a really vibrant city. Used to pretend I was George Smiley, avoiding East German agents. A bit sad I suppose.
Have a good day.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Sorry RB, just read back a page, no didn't have a suede or denim jacket. For some reaon didn't often wear a coat in the evening....something to do with fashion I think....or had boyfriends with cars Wore a coat to work......but not my boots lol
Hey Chicky I always pack at the last minute... if I do it over a period of days O forget what's in and what's not. I have a list I keep with all the standard things to pack, which works for me too. Means I can do it in double quick time and hopefully not forget anything.
I went to Berlin just after the wall came down. I cried when I was shown where the nazis burned the books.
Taking it easy today, getting over the cold I caught in the UK and all that driving. The next 3 days forecast is very good, there will be a tulip and viola planting frenzy to get it all done before next week's rain.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Been reading back, very amusing, loving the images of you all in kinky boots and mini skirts, unfortunately I just missed that era, raa raa skirts for me and I remember a pair of red shoes I loved, mum was horrified, she seemed to think they sent out a rather unseemly message.
Weather good here, some roses had a good trim and leaves up off the ground, although more seem to keep following.
BL nice to see you back, good luck with the tulips &viola.
Just taking son to Judo now, going to try & finish knitting my cardigan whilst 'watching', just a bit of edging to do and then I am going to start on my Santa hat, on the Christmas Tree stall next week, want to look the part.
Chicky - sent you a message re. Berlin.
Catch up later.

Shame about your cold Lizzie but glad you had a lovely time catching up with everyone
Just attempted mince pies and they boiled over covering oven shelves and bottom and glued themselves to the tin. That's me finished with pastry once and for all. I also managed to order something from Amazon that OH had already ordered but at least I was quick enough to cancel it. The day can only get better
