sorry not been on here for a bit, OH has torn his chest muscle and hasnt been sleeping much....ofcourse that means no one gets to sleep, grrrrr, anyhow, had a reasonable amount of sleep last night, so feel almost human today!
lovely supprise to see the pics you guys have posted, pdoc, love the lioness and cub, you are very lucky, Bill! WOW, if that happened here, life would simply stop, stay safe.
your fish supper sounds good Dove
Oh dear Chicky, midnight taxi? im sure they appreciate it
right, must go and get washed and dressed before my groceries arrive
Yesterday, I spent another five hours at the hospital. I got a free hot orange chocolate at the costa, as I have spent so much in there recently. Comfort food. I suspect I am going to put back on the five pounds I lost this summer. Today we are going to buy a new mattress for mums bed. It has to be a 6 inch memory foam, so that the electric lifter will work under it, to raise dad up to a sitting position, and stop the strain on mums back. A special foam mattress goes on top of that, to stop bed sores.
Then we are going to my great aunt sylvia's 99th birthday party. This is an interim one. She is planning a big one for next year.
Enjoy the 99th party Fidget - a bit of light relief from all the other stuff you are having to cope with.
DD- familiar story on the sledgehammer - I hate doing it too. Always torn between shutting my eyes to pretend its not happening and keeping them open ready to jump out of the way
Today's weather looks better than tomorrows, so might try and get out in the garden for a bit - but otherwise it looks likes an indoor sort of weekend
beware!!! Sister in law was helping her hub by holding the post while he rammed it - but she held the post too high up - ended up in A&E and unable to use either hand for weeks - her hub had to do everything for her!!!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Oh, don't know why that's all gone into bold - I've tried editing it but it hasn't worked!
By the way, has everyone got an ad re sexual health and under age drinking on this site (not pop ups, just the banner at the top of the page)? I suppose we know that gardening has a wide demographic, but I thought that we usually kept ourselves pretty well occupied - I suppose there's not so much to do in the winter ...

Damp here just now but hopefully it'll clear a bit and I can get started on the gravel - it eventually arrived at 4 yesterday.

My niece and great niece aren't going, otherwise we could get five generations of the female line in one photo, since I am a great aunt too.
Fidget - enjoy the party
