  • That was quick Fairy. Looks lovely.image

Look forward to mine arriving. Wasn't expecting mine till January/Feb. As on website that's when they said they would be sent out. Fingers crossed I get mine soon.

Think they're all being collected and packed now lily. They email you to let you know when yours is coming. There's a lovely booklet with it too. On the downside, I heard that there have been people breaking into the vans being used for collecting, to steal them. Some recipients are also putting them on ebay for a profit. I don't expect they're donating that to charity either.

Hi all I popped in to say it's cold here but changed my mind after Bill's photos image

Bill I so hope the snow stays the other side of the lake.  -7C hope that boiler of yours is in top condition don't want you without heat like last year. All the best to you & Mrs.Bill x

  • Brrrrrrrr!  Bill, hope you've got lots of layers on!!!

After visiting my Aged Ps I drove down to the harbour and bought four huge line-caught herring for £2!!!

Two will be panfried for supper this evening and the other two are in the oven being soused in cider vinegar and spices as I type - I love herring, and what a bargain!!!

I am very jealous of your poppy Fairy. I wanted one for Christmas, and told OH, and mentioned that they would sell out fast. When I went to buy some for my family they had all sold out, and OH hadn't got around to it image

What an evening I've had image The whole of town was in gridlock and I only just made it home to get a little bit of food inside me before off out again to get stuck in it on my way to Guides image Got there a wee bit late. But then had a lovely surprise, one of the parents brought us some flowers as a thank you for what we doimage What a lovely end to a challenging dayimage
