  • Morning all.

    Lovely sunny morning.

Bad nights sleep.......we had new lamp posts put in our road  yesterday and they left them on all night!  Lovely big bright lights......but not when they light up the bedroom all night image

Well done Mr Panda, great news.

    Windows look good David.

Thanks Chicky, days we want to go seems booked up image

  • Morning all!

Blue sky with dapples of cloud- looking quite bright today, all in all!

Off to uni in an hour to have some tutorials with one of my tutors, then I've finally decided to just take all my laundry to the launderette and just spend what needs to be done. It's too much for one little washing machine/dryer to handle!

Where you off to Panda? image

And nice windows David, good luck putting them in!

What's all the firsts and seconds? I'm a little dense image

  • BitKnit - we get quite competitive about being up and about early in the morning!  It's often me but I had a lie-in this morning image

More power to Mr Panda's elbow - good on him image

    Re: Chicky & Berlin

If you are looking for a special place for lunch/dinner then the roof-top restaurant of the Reichstag is pretty spectacular - http://www.feinkost-kaefer.de/dt_bundestag10/  Not cheap but good, also book in advance as it is understandably popular. It is also a handy way to bypass the crowds wanting to view the Norman Foster designed dome as there is a separate lift taking you up to the restaurant which also accesses the dome.

Some of my old photos here might whet your appetite http://www.pbase.com/steephill/berlin One of my favourite finds was this wonderful door
