Just been for a walk and came across a fully laden fruit tree that i have not seen since i was a kid. I only know it by its ugly name 'Dog's A**e Fruit'
Can anyone remember what its true name is please.
.... I think they might be 'medlars' Edd. Apparently they make very nice jelly. Don't think I've ever seen one.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
thanks for commiserations - I will recover but last week was just about as shitty as weeks can get, once again life reared up it's ugly head and stopped me in the tracks
Verdun I followed your instructions on another thread and moved a camellia last week - so far it hasn't dropped any buds- still have fingers crossed though
Why is it on one day (yesterday) there is loads of green grass and the next day (today) all that can be seen is leaves and very little green stuff - AND too wet to go out and rake
Matty you sound so low doubt big hugs will help much but have them anyway. Such a sad time for you and health issues won't be helped by grief ..dunno what else I can say to you xx Just try and look after yourself and if at all possible think positive, my best wishes & love.

people please-the wonderful joke is that thousands of people are buying rose seeds for plants that would have to come with a paint box.
