Hi Dove, my windows are either stone or polyurethane (no half measure here!)
i think if you had wood then maybe need to be careful, I remember my dad being astounded at what he thiught cigarette burns turning out to be natural combustion
Sorry I still can't correct mistakes in this
Would you believe the sun is strong and it is going to be a lovely sunset

Hi Folks, Terrible weather this morning but this afternoon is beautiful and sunny. Have planted Agastache bare rooted plants and finished planted the Tulips. Hardy geraniums have just been delivered will get them in over the weekend hopefully, mind you I haven't checked the weather yet. Lawns need another cut but the ground is just too wet at the moment.
I remember something about prisms being a fire risk, its like glass snowglobes a warning came with mine to keep it out of sunlight due to risk of fire.
Beaus - I don't sound like that I haven't lived in Cheshire since I was seven and have moved about a lot so have bits of a few accents. Mum and Dad moved back there when he retired 30 years ago.
Dove my Dad is from Sandbach and my Mum from Runcorn (small world) where Mum's sister still lives so will be going there as well.
After hearing about prisms I think the stickers sound safer if not as pretty
Rained all day, so after a lazy start I've been shopping. Few bits for C.....purchased. Not much else to report unless you want to know cottage pie for meal I might self combust to add a bit of fun

Years ago I had a glass vase on a window sill, until I saw that when the sun shone, the vase could focus the light onto the carpet.
Still wet here, and starting to get cold.
Have a good evening all.

Hi everyone.
Thank you Lesley.
Happy hols Lizzie.
Love Pollyanna film. Prisms are pretty, but are a fire hazzard, bit like a magnifying glass.
Had a lovely lunch with friend. Got a couple of xmas pressies and also had my eyes tested.
