Evening all. Somewhat under the weather here as well as very busy (131 students getting guided tours this week alone) so apologies if you don't see me around. I do keep poking my head in to see what I'm missing!
Well the CW programme was an exact replica of our weekend last month - Beth Chatto, Hyde Hall, Maldon, Wivenhoe .....actually quite spooky But enjoyed watching nevertheless
Spent most of yesterday chasing my tail trying to get last minute presents to take away with me on Saturday. I was in Debenhams when the two minutes silence happened and everyone stood respectfully. Unfortunately the store forgot to turn off the music for their Christmas ad At least the words 'we all stand together' seemed appropriate.
Very wet here - rain been drumming on the roof all night. Hope it clears by the weekend. Gardening club tonight - AGM - next years programme will be revealed - hope its a good one.
Hope you all have a good day (sounding more and more like an American shop assistant )
Dove your day out sounded lovely & a bonus M&S trip.
Punkdoc, prawn risotto, one of my favourites.
Bekkie, sleep is important, gets the stuff in your brain processed, sure you will be twice as efficient today.
I am rushed off my feet again today, son finishes school at 12:00, just time to finish cleaning room now our lovely guest has gone. Already washed the sheets, just waiting for the dreaded iron, they are Superking size so enormous, seem to take forever. Poor lady said the bed was too nice to sleep on and offered to sleep on the sofa instead - I was tempted to allow her for about 3 secs as the ironing image flitted thru my mind, but no that's so not right.
Then this afternoon have to juggle Judo class (for son) with my Gardening meeting and tonight is running club, the coach is sorting out a race for me, so extra effort required. Son being dropped off at a friend and picked up after, don't think feet will touch the ground much today.
To all of you though 'Have a Nice Day' .

Good morning all
We've had a mild night here - the temp didn't drop below 9.4C
I wish the rest of the ash leaves would drop, I want to get them all raked up and am trying to avoid having to do it twice ....
