Morning all. Been a frost here after all the monsoony rain yesterday but I've had a lovely long sleep and only just up and about. Having some of your coffee for a change Dove image

These things are a pain fidget but glad you've got sorted now - hopefully no more large outgoings in the offing.

Fingers crossed for you DD image

Hope weather holds Dove, for you and anyone else taking part in a service today. Nice to see they're letting the Tower poppies stay for a couple more weeks. I think it has helped more people -especially youngsters - realise what it all means as the direct link is now so fragile. It's a stunning tribute and memorial.

Off to look round as I fell asleep early last night after being out. Have a good day everyone image

    Morning all (again).

The sun is here - haven't been to see how cold it is out yet. I'm debating whether to put washing out on the line to dry (or at least air). I can't find the ladder to trim the hedge but if the car that is half blocking the driveway would go away I'm quietly convinced that I can park the truck up and stand on the bonnet to reach.

Have a lovely day out there - keep safe!

  • Washing on the line?  Trim the hedge?  Not here Clari - lovely weather for ducks here!!!  The Lovely Home have just said it's tipping down there too so there's no way we can take Pa to the Parade and War Memorial.  I'll do the honours with the cross for his brother, and then we'll go and watch the wreath laying at the Cenotaph with them on the telly.

image  Is it really a good idea to stand on the bonnet to trim the hedge???  Nothing to grab on to in case of sudden earthquake ....

Floppy and tired - and not just fingers RB - that's definitely a condition I have just now. It's called 'autumnitis' image

Clouding over here - hope I don't have to get ironing out...image

Hope you get some sun soon Dove its glorious here! Bonnet bouncing will have to wait - the car is still there to my annoyance.

Settling down to watch the remembrance parade with the bbc while I sort some paperwork for school tomorrow. So glad they also have dry weather.
