Hello all. Thanks Gardengirl - good to be back!! Yviestevie - good to hear you are planting my favourite flower. Planted all my ones from the GW offer. Cant wait til next year to see how they all look! Sounds like everyone has been busy in the garden. I would have loved to be in my garden but wont get an opportunity til Thursday now so no doubt it will be raining.
Hello - I did not manage to get into the garden much today fed the birds and had a look around and trying to figure out making my cold frame went to Wickes and got a fir bin and some wood
Going to see Woodgreen Wonderboy tomorrow and give him the little house for his grass round about as I have finished it
That's OK Fg, you eat your supper; I'll enjoy Mr Packham's company
Topbird, Hefty was already here when we moved in - I'll try to remember to explain about how we met him tomorrow - for now my feet are up, there's a bar of hazlenut milk chocolate to share with OH, and Autumnwatch is on.......
See you tomorrow folks
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Enjoyed Autumnwatch - thanks for the reminders, folks! Those baby barn owls were SO cute!
Beaus Mum - thanks for your concern, I was fine, just a bit wind blown. The shed has probably had it though! Daughter and family returned yesterday, and were suitably impressed (and grateful!) when they saw what I'd been doing. They've decided to go to live in Galway so the tidy garden should help when they put their house on the market. (As it doubtless did with yours, BM. )
I'm expected to be called on for gardening advice when they get settled in Galway. It's very wet, windy and mild, with acid soil. Anything like Cornwall do you think, Verdun?
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
