Good morning all I'm late on parade this morning 'cos I've had to borrow OH's laptop - mine seems to have frozen in standby I'm leaving it to run its battery down and hopefully when I plug it in again it'll kick it into life - otherwise I'll have to take it to lovely son in law who's my own tame IT engineer
Clari - fingers crossed for lurgy resistance

When I was off last week I over did it a bit and couldn't even type to let you know what I had been upto! Hoping to catch up proper this time I'm off
Clari your new baby is so gorgeous and I read you wanted good hard chew for him, someone suggested the antlers, they are brilliant and beaus last him for ages. Also in wilkos they sell plastic yellow ones that are also really tough and lots cheaper than the antlers. glad you had better night with reggie staying in bed We used a crate from when we got beau and he still uses it for bedtime, it's his bedroom Have you thought of using one or do you think it's too late to get him used to one?
The sun is shining again. There was a bit of frost on the grass but it's already 5c. New washing machine is arriving at some point today thank goodness as the pile is growing ever higher.
Had a good time yesterday, going for a meal and to see Spamalot (which is so insane that parts of it are funny).
Read back, have no idea how you all have time for drooling over men, I think I have moved out into garden last few days, so much to do, sun has come out and so have all the pesky weeds, daren't yurn my back on it.
OH is in my good books though (for a change), he has ordered me a garden bench for my new rosebed (at last). Not that I will have time to sit on it.
Some pics below of my before and half way to after. Still not quite there but gardening is all about patience (and vivid imagination).
Last year's first clearing of soon to be rosebed.
Yesterday, bench and path to be added and rocks yet to be moved to rockery.
Getting prepared to be white flowerbed this summer.
Last year's jungle
Yesterday, hope the flowers grow back, looks a bit bare.

Have I missed much?

Try to pace yourself this time Beaus
Have a good day everyone.
I know the feeling about being too tired to type Beaus mum,
I did 8hrs in the garden Tuesday and felt really under the weather yesterday. Spent whole day in bed catching up on GoT.
Today will be light duties, got my clematis delivered but as usual my plans have gone awry and what I wanted to plant where, needs some revision.
It's such an awkward business but I guess it gives me something to do
More shopping later and more lists to make since OH is demanding I finalise the second Wicks order so hope I don't miss anything.

Good morning
I hope all who were ill and sore feel better today.
I have a date with a variegated Ceanothus which requires pruning, it has been recovering from bro' lolly popping it
and has now gone a bit crazy.
Catch you all later.
p.s. I'm not 27 if it is the new 60 +
& I haven't watched Poldark either series.
DD Wow you've certainly worked hard.
Morning KEF
