Evening all! Just worked out that of the 46 days of school holidays I've got 29 (so far) events teaching vital life safety through hands on learning booked in, I'm meant to have 14 days holiday, and there's two days worth of meeting leaving me.... one day to get ready for the next school term! I forsee a whole lot of late nights in the horizon.
Wonky: CONGRATULATIONS on not going too crazy waiting all that time. Insane to have put you through that!
Steve: awesome looking boat. I do miss sailing!
Trying to motivate myself to either drag the dog for another walk or poke around in the garden or... generally not go to bed before 21:00!
miscanthus nepalensis and M. Karl Foerster. Lots of another one I'd have to look back at the receipt to get the name and trays of Millium effusum Aureum.
One does get so carried away sowing seeds. and gathering up seedlings.
If you're around North Devon, You're welcome to have some Lily.
Think it's 'cos it's a hot i.e. busy thread - think it's pointless really 'cos if it wasn't busy it'd disappear off the bottom of the page, but I don't think they ever thought this forum would be as busy as this The RHS forum can go several days without a new post
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Evening all! nice result on the freebie Hosta! now that's customer service above and beyond!
Thanks Verdun for the celebration donation via Dove I reduced it to a fiver tho as she has done so much my whole life, I'm letting her off! Got five plants from the neglected stand in the range for my fiver anyhoo so money well spent!
Horrid treatment from the vets PPam! I use my local vets4pets and they can't do enough to help! They know I'm on a budget so try and reduce the cost as much as possible and are really kind people.....hope all of the branches have the same standard but worth a go I'd say!
Thank you everyone for your congratulations and support! Its been quite an ordeal but I have a wicked tan and fabulous garden all courtesy of the nasty folks that tried to stitch me up! like you all say....behind me now.....up, up and away!!!!!
Off to munch Spanish chicken that's been in the slow cooker since 10.30am have a great night everyone!
Today ,we went to the buddhist garden near Newark that was featured on Britains best back gardens last January.
Hmm, a mixed reaction. Some things such as cloud pruning done very well. Other stuff, such as lots of uneven paths and concrete, bad.
So we left there and went to Norwell nursery, nearby.
The gardens look lovely. The dieramas in particular were good. I bought some plants, a Crocosmia okovango, stipa gigantea, a geum, kniphofia mango popsicle, and an angelica that I thought was a black elder. The leaves are really dark red, it should be interesting next year. I also got a Salvia embers wish.

Why do some of the forum thread titles have a chilli icon beside them, and some don't?
