    Morning all. OH and I are getting ready for the off. Presents are all packed in the suitcase, clothes and presents in the rucksack. OH is just finishing the washing up image 

    South West here we come! Not as far as Verd, but next door in Devon image 

    I should be able to make an appearance, but if I don't, Happy Christmas Forkers! What a fabulous and lovely bunch you are x You've meant more to me than I can say, I am so glad I found you image And you've given me loads of help with my garden image

    Have a lovely time - but watch out for invading Cornish piskies...they come down chimneys and steal tinsel and mince pies... image 

    They're really too good to eat chick - she's spent hours doing them. I don't think she should let anyone eat them! image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I believe they're good slow roasted, cooled and  carved, with a bit of mayo and some salad on the side Dove...image

    (First stage of journey going well! Am wishing I hadn't bought so many presents. My suitcase is V heavy image)

  • Strictly social day today… pre lunch drinks at one friend's house, then off to pub for Chrissy lunch with another family. Who's the lucky one???image

    Morning al [ just ] have to admit I am not long up, having been eating teacakes in bed listening to radio 6. Have just had a wander round the garden, the pond has flooded, but I did disturb a fishing heron, which was nice.

  • Housework done, time for a cuppa then will start wrapping.

    Panda hope you have a lovely time, enjoy the break from work. Think we all need to recharge our batteries. Lets hope 2014 brings health and happiness to us all image

    I love the reindeer gingerbreads.

    I braved the crazyland that was planet Tesco this morning. I couldn't believe I managed to get the till with the operator being till trained. Three days before xmas!!!!.

    It then hailed here, and the road and garden were coated white for 10 minutes or so.

     Looked almost christmassy. I still have an inclination to hibernate and emerge when its all over.
