Susan, we were having a laugh. Runnybeak was being funny, just her way. Please don't get upset. People on this forum are very kind, I've had upsets in the past and only received kindness.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Currently snoring away OL; the long evening walk might have helped. I'm hoping he'll not decide to have his 04:00 mad session running up and down the stairs that we experienced this morning: its not a good way to wake up! He seems more settled tonight thank goodness: his lordship being away often throws a spanner in his routine.
Sweet dreams everyone. Try to keep your hands to yourselves!
Feeling shattered this evening, have had to up the meds for my back which isn't good. Nevermind at least I should be able to sleep. After this evenings discussions our dreams should be interesting.
Just monopolised the tv for 2 hours and caught up with Poldark. very good, although I am missing Biggins
Have met Chris Beardshaw, and he was lovely.....and certainly not 5'2
managed to acquire another 2 hardy geraniums at lunchtime today - white ones this time. Someone once said a garden could never have too many hardy G's ......I am rising to that challenge.
Morning all. Final school for this week - this means I'll have had 176 students through the door. We'll see if the immune system boosting supplements Dove suggested are working. The Museum is sans cleaner once again (left because he didn't like being expected to clean... erm?!) So at least I'm able to ensure not only my classroom but everything else I can find time to wipe down is thoroughly disinfected!
Puppy had a reasonable night with only a small amount of barking and running up and down the stairs. I'm just hoping that today fellow dog walkers will at the very least stay in the same postcode as their free running dogs. It does make things more stressful for those of us working on training our excitable 23kg puppies!

That's it behave and make up all of you and get off the subject of men and lets change the subject.
Who remembers the beautiful Charlie Dimmock
This is a great forum for light-hearted banter and for genuine, caring concern. I love it!
However, I fear I'm going to be off line for the next 6 days
- though there will be plenty of compensation for being absent.
Have a good week, folks See you later!
