That's great, OL - those stars are just reward for all your hard work.
Dove, I agree about that Welsh rock face on Monty's programme. Beautiful! I'd love a garden with "in situ" rocks...
Thanks folks for good wishes re daughter and family. They got to Ireland for their holiday, though rather later than expected because of ferry disruption. In spite of the rain they think it's beautiful.
Meanwhile, I've spent hours on my hands and knees weeding their block paving drive. (Might need additional weedkiller for regrowth of dandelions I think.) Not yet finished but it already looks better... and this afternoon the rain stopped and it warmed up a bit!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I can't believe I've missed a Monty programme......I knew nothing about it. That just shows how much TV I've been watching......not even that clued up on what's going on in the world, apart from poor Lynda Bellingham passing away
I missed Monty too, forgot to record it. But I heard about Lynda B.
Well done OL and congratulations to your OH.
I enjoyed the Quiz and Curry evening. My team came third. BM said "BL are you the towns mayoress! You go on so many dinner dates and engagements, wish I was that popular " No BM, it's just that OH and I are retired! Also (hardly dare say here as some people are anti-church, was a thread about it once), I was local church warden for the C of E here in France for 6 years. I organised social and charity events for the church.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Glad you enjoyed your quiz Lizzie And great to hear everything is starting so well for OL and Mr OL (hopefully your isolation from the news has shielded you from the footie results too).
it is so dark here in the mornings now - but clocks back this weekend, so we'll get some light back for a few more weeks. Shame we have to lose it in the evening to compensate.

Ha ha Lily, just read you last post and guess what.....I mentioned cakes
Hi Lesley, I will keep in touch. Can you let me know when you are in Cheshire again.
The 5 rating is like one of those certificates you see in restaurants etc, but slightly different for a retailer, very proud of my OH
Good to hear from you OL and congratulations, glad to see that all the hard work is paying off.

. So glad things are going well for them.
Well done on your bronze medal for the quiz lizzie
Liri deserves a gold medal for being on her hands and knees out in the cold and wet weeding at daughter's house
Have a good day everyone.
