Counted up the bulbs still to plant that is 291 did have 299 just for home garden that is the ones I brought and there is a few to plant that I dug up to plant back into the ground and 6 for station as well oh and a few to put somewhere from a container that I want to re-do so not too many to plant then
Pleased to see I am not the only one who hasnt planted bulbs yet.
My daughter came up yesterday and emptied all the tubs and baskets ready for me to plant up, and brought 10 bags of compost to save me having to go out, just need a dry day now.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Morning everyone, Yes it does feel like the middle of the night but when my grandaughter decides its morning, then its morning. Firstborn has given up and is marking school books and I have decided to amuse myself with a little plant porn. Just thought I would pop on and see if there were any night owlers first. Baby is asleep now but doubt if I will be able to drop back off now. I do envy those people who seem to fall asleep before their head hits the pillow. Hubby and SIL seem to be 'one of those people'.
Lyn Ive still got tulips to plant and still waiting for some Alliums to be delivered. You should get your dry day soon according to the forecast.
GG dont envy you still having almost 300 to do. Sounds like back ache to me, but it will all be worth it in the spring.
Off for a browse, hopefully I wont get tempted and spend a fortune again.
Yesterday I would have been able to join you - accidentally pressed a button on my alarm clock on Sunday night that put it forward an hour, so we got woken at 5.15 instead of 6.15, had a cuppa and started to get ready before we noticed all the other clocks in the house seemed to be wrong. By which time it was too late togo back to bed. Threw me out all day
My 100 bulbs arrived yesterday, so more to plant. Leaving tulips a bit longer - need to clear the summer pots first.
So much rain here - looking forward to the heatwave
