Nice to see you back Punkdoc - great news about your mum and what a fantastic job you've landed. I really envy you the opportunity to go & do some proper whale spotting. It's lovely when some nice things start to fall into place - especially when you've had a bit of a rough few weeks.

Hoping for a day without showers tomorrow so I can get out in the garden again & do some dividing & seed sowing.

I think one of the reasons we gardeners are a happier bunch is because we are always looking forward to the nicer things in life - planning for spring & summer when everyone else is bemoaning the onset of dark nights & colder days & enjoying the fruits of our labours in the spring & summer. I also don't know a selfish gardener - we always want to share - whether it's knowledge, seeds, cuttings, produce or even time to help a friend get on top of their plot. I genuinely think that makes us nicer, happier people image

Evening all. First night at home for weeks, and I am by myself. OH at Pilates.

Anyone fancy a few beers and a takeaway?

How can you lie there and think of England

    P'doc that sounds great image

Am disappointed, I posted comments at lunch today and they aren't there image I welcomed you back P'doc and asked if I could come too as I'm a dab hand with a bow and arrow, in case your gun freezes image

Well a few of us had a curry last night - but there's no law says you can't do it two nights on the trot is there?

Or I don't mind Chinese or Thai - you choose as we're coming to yours image

Can I have G&T though please (I'll bring my own ice & lemon....)

The only time I have been really, really drunk was on Diamond White - I was soooo ill (for several days too). Absolutely lethal - cannot face cider now. image

On my SIL's hen night she & her friends (all student nurses) were on cider all night - they were all very poorly. A couple of us olden's had to go on to spirits after the 2nd glass to sober up LOL
