Tour of garden done. It is amazing how quickly things return to their wild state. I think I will need a machete rather than a fork, to clear some of this.

Hi Pdoc, great news that you've been thrown out image

Wow what a thing to be doing, do you need someone to carry your doc bag?  I'll leave Kylie hot pants at home and wear a nursie outfit and thermals imageimage Seriously I have an air rifle you can borrow and I can give you lessons, you might have to hit the bear with it but heck what an opportunity.

Came on to say weather has stayed okay here and got lots done in garden.image

Chuffed at my harvest of beetroot, rocket, few barlotti beans, white radishes & chatenay carrots, well happy with those as I sowed them in used sacks that I'd grown spuds in and just added more organic potato feed. Got nets off winter veg, some white fly but at least no crawlers on the chard, spinach, kale & winter broccoli image Imagine cabbage whites have now gone.

Sown my corn salad & lambs lettuce for something salady over the winter and some winter density lettuce that might produce before April as all are in the GH.

Got some apple sauce to make from windfalls.

All in all a happy bunny image

Knowledge and wisdom are definitely my attributes doc...image

    KEF - nursie outfit?...image

My mum used to iron everything including towels. I don't do a lot of ironing but I hate it building up. I don't have a drier just now but when I did, I carefully folded stuff when it came out of it so did practically none ! Even the girls' school shirts didn't really need doing image

KEF, loving the sound of nursie uniform, although it would need to be worn with the hotpants.

I don't do any ironing here - my OH enjoys it so I let him get on with it...  image

Punkdoc, great news about your mum.  And about your impending adventure!  Son went to Svalbard last year to help with a PhD project, and had to learn to shoot before he left on the expedition.  Anyone less likely to be found with a weapon in his hand would be hard to imagine - but he completed the course and has the certificate on his toilet wall to prove it!  image  He was almost disappointed not to catch sight of a polar bear while he was there.  Saw a lot of reindeer though.

    Steady rain is falling here...

I'l ship mine down to him Liri. A man has to be kept occupied or he gets up to all sorts of mischief.

    Just look at doc! imageimage
