Matty - my smilies with hats come and go at random image

Big hugs for tues Stacey - everything crossed here.

Lizzie - West Dean is lovely - especially the walled gardens and orchards. The open museum is fascinating too - leave plenty of time to wander - it is huge. My favourites are the railway worker cottages.
  • Right, a stuffed shoulder of pork has been in the oven for over an hour now, roasties are prepped  and ready to pop in soon,  ingredients for the Yorkshire puds are ready and green cabbage has been washed and shredded.  Sitting down at 6.30 everyone image

I've also prepared a cross in the name the uncle I never met, Pa's youngest brother.  If he's well enough my son will push him in the parade tomorrow and we'll be with him at the War Memorial where my son will place the cross on behalf of his beloved Grandpa. Pa has had a difficult day today, so fingers crossed that he will be fit for parade tomorrow.  If not we'll be with him to watch the Queen lead the Commonwealth in the service at the Cenotaph tomorrow morning.
