Think it's BM's shabby chic thread?

Feeling very lazy today - or worn out. Can't decide... image

I have so much to do outside but can't summon the  energy. Cake is needed...

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

  • Sorry to hear about your moms sight p' doc, hope she learns to cope with it, the aging process is very cruel at times

Verd, sorry to hear about your mom too, lets hope she gets only the good nurses from now on

Dove, you said that you wanted to grow less plants this year- look what happened! I reckon you should just give in and start a tomato farm!image

BL! Nice to have you back, hope you haf a great time image

SGL, you need to chill lady! image

BM, George is too old to have a brother or sister, i think he likes being a spoiled only child! image

Sorry, i know ive missed loads, but my post gym brain isnt working well- i could murder a bag of chips!image
  • Ooh, thanks GG!  Love apple cake...  well, most cake actually  image

Lesley - don't worry, Kirk is an interesting alternative to Liri...  I gave up predictive text on my mobile because I kept sending embarrassing messages by accident.  I once sent my OH a text saying "I'll be good in a little while" instead of "I'll be home in a little while"  imageimage  And yes, he's definitely a keeper.  We've been married 39 years...  image

Thanks SGL, but the drunk woman was just snoring peacefully on my shoulder.  She was a bit heavy though...  image

Time for a little planting I think  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Hi all. Not been around here much lately (again, life gets in the way).

Had a good day today.image Went to plant sale at Sheffield Botanical Gardens. Came away £12 lighter with a heuchera peach flambé, phlox Natasha, perovskia blue spire and anemone whirlwind.image Nowhere to put them though!image. And no trees for sale, which I'd kinda hoped for, so will have to wait until they come in at GC.image

I've been trying to dig out or divide a phormium (gold variegated type), but it is IMPOSSIBLE! So will have to but a new one for the 'ideal spot', and let the big one stay where it is.

Hope all of you are well and happy.image
