  • I'm back from shopping, eggs, rubber gloves, lemons, bread and sellotape.  It's drizzling now, just as the load of towes is spinning - think it might be feet up with Columbo and some knitting image

Stacey best wishes for Tuesday, keep calm and smile through, all our fingers are crossed for you.

Planted 6 remaining tulips, scarlet baby. Potted up new miscanthus thanks to V. Now pottering inside. Trusted 16 yr old to take son to park, i know iknow they are old enough but it's first time i've let them go on their own (yes, overprotective but not too much as my 11 yr old sees the world differntley and needs extra looking after). Right off to tidy up and take my mind off it.

I woner if anyone has given a thought about how to light it? Last year I came to the rescuw with firelighters.

They are digging out turves as I write, and I have a pack of cheap daffodil bulbs to pop in once they are being replaced

Good luck for Tuesday Stacey. Is this one at Charing X too? Lets hope it's not the same staff but nicer ones.

Has anyone been to the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum? It will be on TV on Wednesday in the Monastery Garden programme. We are hoping to visit it and West Dean Gardens when we are in England next week. Hope it doesn't rain. Pouring here now as usual.

Could do with a muffin Matty. They look good.

Verdun - Gardeners world boring?  It had lots of Nigel in it - great.

  • Don't think that Nigel can compare with Verdun's own canine companion image

Oops.  Sorry, I didn't know Verdun had a doggy.

  • I'm sure there's no need to apologise - I believe Verdun likes most doggies, but I think he likes his own the best image

  • Mmmmm yummy cakes, are they for us this afternoon with a cuppa?

Well its stopped raining at last, but its too wet now to go out and weed, and I can't be bothered now anyway.  Have been quite lazy really not done much at all. Which is rather stupid as home alone cos OH is at Twickenham.  Never mind nice and peaceful here.

Not seen GW yet, will watch later.
