Still recovering from yesterdays excitement. Have to pack a bag as have a conference in Oxford that means an overnight stay - if the place has wi-fi i will check back in this evening. Staying in one of the Oxford colleges - one of the old ones with quads and spires and everything. Will play at Brideshead Revisited for 24hours ... Or was it Chariots of Fire??
That sounds really posh chicky but be very careful in Oxford. Come to think of it the number of murders went right down after Morse died. Something suspicious me thinks.
Lovely pic of the Wisley visitors. Look forward to more.
Welcome back OL. Glad to hear you had a good holiday. Did you get to Spinalonga? I got home on Thursday and am trying to tackle the weeds now.
Lovely lillies Rb - can we have another photo when they open please.
Don't know how you manage DD. I get tired just reading about what you do.
Morning all. Very chilly here. I can see frost on the roofs of garages/sheds here.
Brideshead for me chicky. My favourite book of all time but you'd have to go to Castle Howard for the real effect
They went back up after Lewis came back Lesley ....it's a conspiracy....
We don't want anything happening to you...check that Kevin Whately's not there first...
Glad the day trippers had a good day and OL had a lovely holiday. Wasn't on last night - too tired after a long day in the garden so I'll have a quick look round before I go to work.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Chicky, enjoy Oxford, one of my fav places, did a summer school in one of the colleges once, brilliant, the little ‘porter’ letting us in was so quaint, and he gave us a key to a little turnstile gate so we could get back in after hours.
Morse was my hero too, not sure about Lewis but I do like his sergeant!
Spinalonga, OL did you go? Read The Island this summer, was fascinating!
Must go and get the leaves raked up before next of visitors arrive, maybe time for a bit of weeding, and need to follow Monty’s advice re raspberries!
Have a good day all.
