In for some lunch. Very kind - thank you chicky image

Been out there working on the bits round the screen. It looks like I've done very little but it's all the fiddly things that take the time and I'm working on the little pond and the edging for the grass which will go in front of it. Just saw your comment on Garden Gallery and I can send you some of those nasturtiums if you want. There's only a few seeds in that pot and the pic doesn't really do them justice. They're a really rich colour. I have a lily with almost identical colours so I plan to have them for a hotter, jungly sort of bit near the new extension when it's built.  I'll have phormiums ,big foliage and some hotter colours for a bright, fiery spot I think image

Bet those rasps are scrumptious. My favourite fruit I think. Don't have room to have any here image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

  • Fidget, i had 3x polka rasps and 2 packs of seed using my T&M vouchers from clubcard boost, was sent a free delivery code too, so the lot only cost just over a quid in the end! image

I was wondering about getting Polka last winter and didn't get any in the end.  You'd recommend them would you Chicky?

Steve - polka gets a big thumbs up from me - prolific and v tastyimage

  • Polka?  Very prolific ........... and then some!!!  We're getting buried under huge tasty raspberries - the freezer is filling up and I'm going to have to make jam as well as having lots to make lovely puds for Christmas and we're having freshly picked raspberries from the garden with our muesli for breakfast every morning.  I planted 3 canes in Feb 2013!!!  They have global ambitions - wonderful image
