  • Morning all, hope you have a safe journey chicky. Is it a holiday?

Hope you all have a lovely day. Not raining at the moment and the sunis trying to come out. Must rake the grass again for acorns!!

Weathers not supposed to be good later so will go and doit now see you later byeeeeeeII

  • Hi Verd, agree with everything you say about Tulips. I don't know why the growers and GCs don't promote them as annuals... it wouldn't hurt their sales.image

Altho' mine are expendable I give them one more chance to flower. 2 years ago they were translocated to the vegetable bed to flower if they choose to. About 1/3 to 1/2 did and I use these for cutting. I grow my runners on top of them so as to not lose the space. Last year's tubs of tulips have been moved out of sight to behind my outbuildings, again in the hope that they will give me some cut flowers.

This year's new offerings will be potted up in the next day or so.

I do enjoy reading what you're all doing in the garden. But its getting so hard not to plant some more things in pots while I (very impatiently) wait to move house!

Yipee I've just had an email that I'm getting 2 pressies tomorrow.

A new pair of gardening gloves and a sack thing to put leaves in when I'm raking them. These gifts were a bargain from Aldi. I seem to have worn out my gloves that stay at Mum's, and a I need a bigger sack to collect loads more leaves. Brotherly love imageimage

  • Little things mean a lot....

  • Hello all

Really wet out side been watching the birds come in for food,

Tulips stay in the garden some times they come up year after year sometimes ok and other times smaller flowers, planted some in pots this year so I can move them around

Verdun - like the sound of yellow wallflower and purple tulips together

KEF - allways one thing you need gardening gloves

WW - is it wet where you are?
