Thanks Verdun, it doesn't look eaten it just sort of goes mushy and dies then another one grows. They are all from the same packet (Aldi special and I don't know the variety), all potter the same way and all in the same place with egg shells on and stood on gravel......it's just odd that it's only one. I will check for slugs (if I have to urghhhh!!) in the morning, they is no way I'm going out in the dark doing it LOL!! Should I have put them in the GH maybe?
Lily, what colour? I have 4 now and got a double stemmed one in the colour I have been wanting from B&Q a couple of weeks ago. I could easily buy more but think OH may have something to say and my best friend has already said she is renaming my house Orchid House!!!!
Lily - I'm waiting for someone to tell me my stumpery is either recognised as a feature or just fun but the only comments are it looks like a store for the branch cuttings! Hope yours is more successful. I like mine anyway (hands on hips smiley!)
Blinkin eck, garden brain in overtime - looked at daffodil varieties (and cojoined daf thread) yesterday. Want new daf for special m.day next year. Never knew you could get multi head varieties (see vanmeueren website - avalanche) 15-20 blooms per stem... what did I see in my garden today ? 3 or 4 blooms on one stem! Blinkin gorgeous, so excited, didn't know I'd planted them so must be from a multibag, oh I know I'm rambling but need to get this said so I can go to bed! Wish I could post a photo, so small and cute. Good night (maybe)...
I am going to invest in some speciality daffs this year MrsGarden, they are my favourite flower so it will be worth it
I'd better head up to the land of nod, I've just remembered my new exercise regime starts in the morning, swimming with my not-so-little one at 6.30 before work/school!!!!!! I'm on a mission to get a flat tummy and better thighs
That's just wrong Tracey! There should only be one 6.30 in a day, if pushed for the other 6.30 it should only be for a quick lick around the ears! Only jealous of your motivation.
Verdun, I've just realised there is a blue flower that I love (going back to your debate on blue flowers!!) Agapanthus....saw it for the first time ever in Cornwall last year growing wild and bought some. They are soooo pretty

Its white with a pinky centre. I'm going to get 2 more tomorrow and try to make one big display.
If you look carefully, there's sort of 3!
MrsG, do you have a pic of your stumpery, i've been looking on the web for ideas, but they mainly show pics of roots.
