Well I'm earlier than I thought I'd be The sun and it's heat are a distant memory for us in the south east I've a garden party to attend this arvo, a thank you for the things we do for the young people, it's a shame the sun won't be making an appearance but hopefully it won't rain
Morning all It's trying to be sunny here but a bit grey and very warm.....no sign of rain though. Last night I struggled watering at 11ish, the compost just wasn't soaking any water so I've put my tumbling toms on the veg patch and put the sprinkler on to give it all a good soaking, I hope I'm doing the right thing but everything is just too dry
Well yesterday I was a domestic goddess so no HW for me today!! I cleaned all the windows, woodwork, pulled out sofas and cleaned behind them and did all the 'regular cleaning', 4 lots of washing done and dried - about 4 hours worth....needless to say I was knackered at the end of it so OH kindly offered to take me up to the local for my tea So that's where I was all those with naughty minds (Bekkie )
Today we are going looking for cars (snap Lily!) and tackling the triffid privet hedge at the back of the garden which somehow has managed to get to about 10' high!! We need to do that without breaking any plants including my sunflowers I also need to weed my veg patch and......drum roll for the exciting bit.......I'm going to check my Charlotte potatoes for dinner tomorrow, I hope I have some
Good luck car hunting, we took a couple for a test drive yesterday, one was really nice except for the colour of the interior, felt quick sick when i got out
The sun has just come out YAY! Will get a wriggle on with HW and get out there!
