  • Hi hollie, how exciting. Hope you are very happy in your new home. Don't forget to take all your lovely plants. Did you take photos of your garden before you leave it. You should also take pics of your new one for the 'before' and 'after' you have made it your own.image

    Morning all.

Belgium Chicky? Hope your journeys ok, sounds stressful. How long are you there for? Enjoy.

  • Good morning all image   I like Belgium - it always seems very well organised and there's some fantastic architecture - foodwise lots to enjoy, frites with mayo and gherkins, waffles, chocolate, rabbit casserole with prunes and  beer image

This Pensioner thanks everyone for their kind wishes - you are all very lovely image

Hollie hock, hope the move goes smoothly - yes, lets have some before pics then we can watch the transformation image

    Morning all.

Hope you enjoy Belgium, Chicky. Is it holiday or work?

We are going to the supermarket this morning. Need supplies for the dog and the cat for the housesitter to feed them while we're in England.

Wet again today. Still haven't got my tulips in, it's all so wet. But there's time yet.

  • Busy-Lizzie - you were saying about belts for jeans - I dislike wearing leather belts etc with jeans, but what I have found useful is an adult-sized elastic belt with snake-type fastening (like a 50s schoolboy) - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ADULTS-ELASTICATED-SNAKE-BELT-BELTS-STRIPES-/230547582176 they're really comfortable and I think they look good too. image

Thank Dove, I remember those, my brothers wore them when they were 50s and 60s schoolboys!
