September already. Where did summer go?

With all the hoo ha last week, OH forgot nurse appointment to get holiday jabs. A bit of creeping is going to be necessary to reschedule. I have two days at work, got to catch up on last week still. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. White rabbits is what we say on the first. image

Thanks for all the advice re sting. My medicine cabinet never has much in it apart from paracetamol, micropore tape, savlon and tcp. We don't suffer from too many ailments in this house so apart from adding  cough bottle it doesn't change much! It's not so itchy today anyway so I'll see how it goes. I'm sure I'll survive image

I saw that MrsG. How is it going to differentiate between just day dreaming and checking mirrors and looking around to see what all the other clowns are doing before you can make a manoeuvre. image

Damp here but supposed to clear up and be nice. Now I'm wishing I'd put weed and feed down on Saturday after all the rain on Friday, but I left it because there was no rain forecast and I don't have an outside tap yet for a hose. image

Hope you get sorted fidget. Always difficult when unexpected things happen to disrupt your plans.

Off for a look round before I go to work. Have a good day everyone image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • Don't forget September and October are Late Summer , not A***** which doesn't start until 1st November. Cake will be denied all who ignore this rule.image

By the way it's raining here so will cook up a bunch of soup to keep out the cold and damp!!image

Returned home to inspect what my "man" had managed to do on Friday. Now seem to have acres of space to plant up with new schemes; really exciting. Can now see the wood for the trees. As a friend said recently my garden is coming back to life again.image

    Have  a good week everyone.

But Woody - does that mean we'll have to hold on to winter too? image

Can you maybe have a word with the powers that be so that they can organise spring a bit earlier up here too? image

Looking forward to seeing all your new planting taking shape. New broom and all that.image

  • Winter is December to end of February, although in a good year Spring starts on Valentines Day for some, so they say...image
