Hi folks!  Before I forget, Helenium 'Rubinzwerg' is a nice red one, though it fades a bit orangey.  Don't know any others but I'm sure you could find them on the web...

Happy day with the grandkids yesterday.  Woke to rain this morning - OH dropped me at the local GC on his way to the football after lunch so I could buy more gravel (for delivery in a few days) to finish the path.  Somehow managed to come away with 3 plants & 2 packs of bulbs as well...  image

Rain stopped so I walked home along the canal & picked another 2lb of blackberries.  image

Good news re your dad, Fidget.  Hope you got somewhere with your complaint against the hospital though.

Happy hols to lots of you!  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Lovely here this afternoon so I went out to get on with my gate. B****y latch is unusable due to the design so will have to go back image  I bought the wrong screws yesterday so ran out image and I got stung by a wasp image

Should have stayed in and watched telly instead...image

Had a lovely time and yummy food at the lunch party. Got home at 7pm.

Topbird, someone is starting something like the ngs in France, but not here yet. Someone is coming to inspect my garden for next year. I am about an hour from where you will be, I think, but we are going to Italy, Lake Garda, on Thursday, back 9 days later. A friend I first met on this forum will be housesitting. There is a garden open to the public not far from Sarlat  http://www.lesjardinsdecadiot.com/eng/indexeng.php

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

There is also this garden, privately owned, they run a farm and a B&B. It's pretty, we've been there. La Roque Gageac is worth a visit too, you can take a boat on the river Dordogne or rent a canoe.  http://www.fermefleurieperigord.com/

I think my brain's gone into meltdown chicky. It's fed up of the living conditions...image

Tomorrow is another day though and I will trek back to that famous DIY store to change the latch and get more screws. Hope I don't get some spotty youth when I try to explain why the thing doesn't work though...image

Just realised  my arm is quite swollen and stinging a bit. It'll take my mind off all the other aches and pains though. Every cloud...image
