Blue skies and sunshine here this morning - highest temp yesterday 23.8C and lowest last night 12.2C - not bad for what is beginning to feel like autumn.
Remember those free species-type tulips from last year? I grew those in pots - I'm going to plant them in the front border this autumn - they usually keep going nicely - I think it's the tall Darwin-types that don't last more than a couple of seasons.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
It was much cooler yesterday and had it not kept raining on and off it would have been a great gardening day. Did get some cuttings taken and some clumps dug up aka known as divided from plants that might not survive the Winter.
Today will be weeding and planting a couple of things that really should be in the garden and not in pots.
Congrats chicklet

Pleased to hear that Gardengirl is feeling better Hope Pdoc survived the Dentist Clari thinking about you and hope you are okay for the wedding tomorrow.
Hope all the prep' finished for your weekend Dove
Lesley soz I forgot your shopping list, I'll fetch it for you next week
Off for a wander around forum, it's a bit wet underfoot so will inspect garden later.
Morning all. Getting better slowly though I'm wondering what the limits on how much snot you can actually produce is? Nose nice and red for Saturdays wedding but the barn they're holding it in was 2ft under water last night so I don't think they'll worry too much. Looks like my little Landy will be on car park duty as well as getting the groom (their request) to the registry office!
Have a fantastic weekend everyone. I hope the summer weather isn't causing you too much trouble.
