Need to pop out to get dinner for tonight now! Can't believe morning nearly gone already! Really want to get couple of hours gardening in as forecast rain tomorrow so know already that will be me, nieces and looms!!!
Good morning everyone - I know I am a bit late but OH concerned about how much time I spend on here - love reading all the posts. Anyway, have changed three beds and am well on the way down the washing/ironing pile so thought time for a quick coffee and catch up. Internet connection here bit slow due to satellite being so many thousand miles up and down (OH did explain technical aspect but to me it's just slow).
Really enjoyed my garden visit yesterday, people were lovely as was the home made carrot cake, best I have ever had and that's alot. Garden was very interesting, well planned and thought through with some lovely flowers. Because garden so big they used lots of really vibrant colours to bring it together and it worked really well. One flower I was really struck by was a Tigridia, it was really, really lovely, never seen one before but will get some for next year. I know I shouldn't say it but I was pleased to see some weeds too, made me feel better, I was so worried it was going to be absolutely perfect and make me feel inadequate!
In my spate of enthusiasm also bought a French gardening magazine - I will master this language - excellent gardening magazine, beautifully laid out (lots of gorgeous pictures too) nice to see it not full of adverts selling stuff like GW too. Really good section on encouraging wildlife to control pests too, even a bit on how moles despite everything can be good for the garden - not convinced, but do realise now why there is so much Euphorbia planted in the garden - sorry to say it's not working very well!
Better get back to the ironing, don't want to get 'grounded' off my computer if OH spots me on here again! On the plus side he is off to UK next week for 7 days, with 6 year old too - heaven! Just kidding, love them both being around really- honest.

Hi again If the forecast hadn't said sun for most of the day I would say that it's turned a bit cool and we've had a few spits of rain. Better get used to it if I'm getting sent to Canada on my own to help Bill LOL Bekkie, I don't do cold weather.
Just watching lets do lunch, not usually bothered but its Mels bitrhday, such a lovely show, they supprised her with adam ant (?) Bringing her cake on, she burst into tears!
