Memo to self. I must not buy any more bulbs this year. Out of pots, space, compost and money. As I dig a hole to plant more bulbs, i dig some previously planted up.
Decided we needed to go for a walk earlier, so walking boots on waterproof coat & gloves. Just back 6 miles have been tramped through mud muck and soggy leaves. Did some some lovely horses & a young one. Put me out of my misery I'm having a senior moment what is the name of a baby horse F ??????something Each word I think of is poultry or a baby deer

Just back from a Christmas Fair, did have to have a quick tidy up in the garden this morning, wind had got quite strong last nights and a few things needed a bit of tidying & trimming back. Got some lovely little hand made Christmas decs, a couple of sweet hessian stockings, some scented Xmas tree candles and a very chic French stripe scarf. Charlie made a bauble (kept him quiet whilst I mooched) and also had his 1st meeting of père Noël, although he did inform me that he wasn't 'the real one'!
Nice walk Kef, obviously did the brain cells a world of good.
Jamie Oliver fish pie for us tonight and then Strictly - and of course little glass of wine, for the purpose of good digestion you understand and vitamin intake

Verdun - that's not kind
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

It looks gorgeous Verdun - shame our big trees make the garden so dry.

I think walking cuts off the blood to my brain
Sounds like you had a lovely time at the fair.
