Just read back from when I last posted, what a marathon. Hope colds are better. Been feeling a bit down lately but Edd has definitely cheered me up.
Was going out in the garden this morning as it was sunny but I think I've changed my mind as it's clouded over now. Most jobs are done anyway, just need to pot on a few plants.
Have bought most Christmas presents now, going to Firstborns for Christmas Dinner so just need to order Turkey from our local butchers.
Secondborn has invited us to lunch today as it was Hubby's birthday in the week. Just going for a browse around the site see you later.
Happy St Andrews Day Susan - didn't realise you were also from north of the border
My sister and I saw Margot Fonteyn in Swan Lake when we were little. Must have been a school trip of some kind though as I don't remember my parents being there. My main memory is of the tatty bunch of flowers she got!
I've been out to take some pix and put washing out, and I'm going to go and get on now. Drive safely lily
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Back from a stomp across the marshes with OH - warm and sunny - lots of robins singing away in the gorse bushes on the edge of the marshes - several nice dogs with their owners. Couldln't go too far as it was quite boggy off the main tracks but I suppose that's in the nature of marshes I spotted lots of places where I can snaffle some greenery for Christmas decorations without actually 'stealing'.

Back from the bake sale it all worked out well in the end I didn't make it into church for the parade and made butter icing instead 2 cakes finished - chocolate and a viccy sponge (minus jam - forgot to take it with me ) with butter icing inside Made over £100 so all good!
Afternoon, quick peek, been chatting all morning with a lovely lady, my OH is teaching her daughter something to do with computers so gave us a great opportunity to get to know each other. Was difficult coming here and not knowing a soul, but really starting to feel as if we are getting involved in the community now. Obviously not as good as being involved in the Forkers community, but steady away.
I used to give my sister a rendition of Swan Lake nightly as a child, pillows were my wings, arms tucked inside the pillowcases. Even now whenever the subject comes up we both laugh hysterically about it. Even my ballet teacher suggested I might be better with a 'different' hobby.
Quite a few hydrangeas here, love them all, have a white oak leaf one too FG, very impressive.
I am baking for the school next week, reindeer and snowman cup cakes, might have to do a practice run though first. Unfortunately we are giving these away, not selling, a step too far for the French apparently.
Well done for getting £100 Panda, that's a lot of baking.
Right, back to it, just keep finding jobs to do, least the leaves are all gone now.
And going to a Pilates class tomorrow, someone on here asked me the other day whether we have it in France, apparently they do so my new friend is taking me, only €5 too - bargain - Body Pump is €12
