Where did my last post go? Grrr iPAD! Punkdoc we were in botanicals today, er we are in botanicals nearly every day! Wish I' d have known, you could have come round for cake in return for ideas and advice! Forge dam is nice, like to take littlies for a treat for a walk and lunch in cafe, I can' t keep up with this thread, I only skim read and if something jumps out I notice I can join in, sorry for nit noticing much!
Bekkie - only just got back from daughter's, just read through thread. Alnwick Gdn - YES DEFINITELY! First went with fellow horticultural students from Kirkley Hall college in Northumberland, when it was just ideas on paper and a large area of rough grass. Then periodically during its construction and expansion. Really great combination of the theatrical (amazing waterfall/fountain combination), traditional plantings with a twist (walled garden), peaceful bits, exciting areas for kids etc. Haven't been now for 10 years or so but it's still expanding.
Re daughter, for those of you kind enough to have commented (you are all such lovely people on this forum! ) - she was told today that the paediatrician can see her & the baby in 3 weeks, cos there's been a cancellation - bit better than waiting until November! They're doing ok under the circumstances. And I managed to prune her cordon apple trees in an idle moment so that was good...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Good evening all, I'm thinking you have all drunk too much champagne and gone to bed! Did you even save me a glass?!! And one for lily when she gEts home?
Happy for your friend Dove as know what it is like to have terminal illness with someone so young but the news is positive and I hope this does help your friend keep positive bless her heart.
Brill news Liri that your granddaughter will be seen sooner even though three weeks is still a long time if the poor bubs nappies are still the same
cant wait for Lily to get home so we can hear all about her last day
Bekkie still can't believe youahead chips for breakfast! And please can I come too on mums birthday of you win the lottery
Irisies I love em but my garden rejects them! Grrr planted so many never to be seen again!
