Mother just called and insisted I turned the television on to watch the shopping channel give "practical demonstrations" on some.... well to be honest I turned it on and got bored so quickly I'm not sure what it was. Some wedding cake tat.

Think its a little early to be choosing cake decorations, we haven't even chosen the year yet!

Hi beckie, Ive just downed a magnum and a bowl of choccy ice cream and melon so Im definitely not thinking about calories today.  Update on the burgular alarm, the bloke next door got fed up faster than me and climbed a ladder and cut through the cable just as I was about to set off to the GC (although I suppose that could have been a burgular!!)  Peace has now been restored and all is well.  Now on to Panda's Pimms, Its a case of great minds thinking alike as hubby has just put a jug to chill in the fridge ready for tonight when second born daughter is coming over with boyfriend to join us for BBQ.  Tomorrow I'm out with my best friend, could be a National Trust visit, although I have thought of going to Dorothy Clive's Garden in Market Drayton, anyone ever visited?

That's what I'd do Philippa, or something similar - not that OH and I are likely to do that - we're happy as we are image

Friends arranged their wedding secretly, arranging to take niece and nephew out for a 'Special Day' in half term and said they were to wear their best clothes, and then they'd booked a restaurant and arranged meet up with family and friends without any of them knowing that the rest were turning up.

The niece and nephew were the only family representatives at the ceremony - Registry Office staff provided witnesses - simple and elegant and no one was upset - everyone thought it was brilliant image

Not even the mothers were upset - gobsmacked yes, upset?  Not a bit image
