She's just waving from her balcony/terrace to acknowledge the adulation for managing to stay sane after a year of doing nothing (double layer tin hat on)
evening ... Can I be super lazy please? And say I've read from last page down and send appropriate comments to all? No? Thought not! Do e happy retirement anniversary. Runny horrid stuff for you. Verdun, missed the detail but got the just of it, pdoc, dont know about your anniversary but congrats. Fb a sheepish hello as i haven't looked after a fabulous plant you gave me. Babysitters and family visitors hope you've had good days. Ok ill stop now before i vet even more mixed up!!!
Had a busy work day, then sons swimming, then fish n chips as lazy, ended with a few fireworks...oH set 3 of 4 off upside down - finally realised why they were rubbish at last one! The other 20-30 or so were mostly good.
Recovered from running club, just. We have a coach who devises a plan every week to help us get fitter, faster and stronger, not quite sure it's working for me, seems to be tougher and longer every week and I just get slower. Think we are supposed to go out and practice a few times on our own but I hardly ever get time, like to think digging has some sort of effect, but not 100 % convinced.
Missed Bonfire night, used to always go to an organised one, loved it, I suppose we did have Bastille Day here, but not the same having a picnic on a warm balmy evening.
Not sure I will get any gardening in today, have to face French bureaucracy head on - they are struggling to acknowledge we have a son, despite having been sent (and returned with a stamp on) birth certificate, S1 etc. The office is an hour away, there may well be a queue and who knows how long it will take to sort out. They are super friendly about it, but they do like their paperwork here and definitely 'have a system' I've just not cracked it yet.
Worried about Hellebores now too, we have loads what's all this about cutting the leaves off??
Hope you all have a good day, see you later (I hope).

Frosty here, but at least I got my wormery in the shed so they'll be happy (I hope).
Fantastic organised display of Doves retirement last night - although around us fireworks were going off in force at 17:00 and continued long after I went to bed. Someone around here obviously has money! Definitely made us aware of trying to get our dog (when we get it) used to loud noises!
