MrsG bet you are like me, can't wait until our new bulbs pop up. Well we are in Yorkshire so a new quote "simple things for simple minds"
Dove fasting again
Just eaten the Adam's farm Nigel Slater stuffed Yorkshire, yes Yorkshire pudding ( Richard 3 still in limbo ).
Nigel has named it Cotswold pudding. It's been okay, drained some oil before roasting the puddings as Dove suggested. It did stick a bit, but it wasn't the mushy mess that it would have been. What I didn't agree with was the time to cook the pudding 10 to 15 mins...never has a tiny pud cooked in that time, nevermind a tray. 25/30 mins and it was nearly ready. Will try again as H likes Yorkshirepud. Will see what Nigel cooks this week
Dove's stopped fasting now KEF - homemade mushroom soup and fresh Melba toast inside me and OH has brought some lovely fresh walnuts home with him - now where's the nutcrackers

Hello all
Done another 12 buckets of topsoil down the garden, bag getting lower.
Cleared veg beds all composted and cleared away old pot of compost as flowers gone and found vine weevil - gave to the birds for lunch
still so many plants in flower in the garden
Will read posts properly later - but had to say hooray for Stacey straight away - big hugs to you all - you are a very brave soldier

Dove can I borrow the nutcrackers? We have also have walnuts, thanks for reminding me, I was about to search the fridge for nice things
GardenG you must be bionic.
