I've been growing Cosmos Sonata Dwarf Mix this year.  It grows 20-24" and the flowers are the same size as the larger one. As we can get high winds here I was always having to prop up the taller plants and they still split off at the base. I will definitely grow these again.

Tatton Park will be lovely Archie.  There are two programmes about it on Thurs and Friday evening.

    Morning all.

just been out measuring my cosmos, the smallest is 1metre 10cm, the tallest is 1m 50cm. two are bushy, the others skinnier as they are competing for space - love em, thanks Fb!

Off out 'somewhere' with mum and sis today. Anyone got any ideas as between the 3 of us we are useless at itinery planning! Nice little Yorkshire village will probably be on the agenda.

Panda, have a good holiday whereever you are going.

OL, enjoy resting that leg! Hope the visitor is impressed with your lack of HW and your excellent self care skills!

Well if I'm not Archie I may not have a choice, even me with a dodgy ankle and can't play footie is better than the alternative.  It's a b*@&*y joke (and that's putting it mildly), you wouldn't believe what's going on behind the scenes with supporters etc....it's not going to be a good season, if we have a season at all image Yet again the Oystons  fail the fans but as long as they get their new Ferraris!!

Morning everyone, (just about with a minute to spare) Fed plants this morning and given the sweet peas a tidy up and filled the bird feeders.  OL glad the foot is getting better, whoever mentiioned the more compact cosmos thanks I think Ill give them a try next year, Oh and wasnt somebody sitting around in a pink dressing gown? How. Its boiling here just about coping in baggy T and leggings. Im sitting contemplating whether to put a wildlife pond in the garden but with v young grandchildren Im a bit concerned.
