KEF - we've had 2.3mm of rain in the last 24 hours. We've got our own mini microclimate here we rarely get any of the bad weather that ends up in Rother Valley before heading North to you. Unfortunately this means the garden isn't getting enough water!
Good morning all. Apart from the temperature it looks like a misty autumn morning here. Quite oppressive though. The dog had a lie in this morning so just back from our walk
Hope Woody has a good day and wins lots, and that the vicarage visitors enjoy their day too
Sorry bekkie - I don't share your views on midges or their larvae - my face and neck are covered in bites from yesterday. OL I would take the rose off the watering can in case they block the holes. Btw Lanark is only 25 mins from here and they used to have a wonderful fish and chip shop. Probably still there but I've been good for a few years
OMG......absolutely hilarious!! OH has just gone to put his trainer on and there was a frog in it, all I heard from the hallway was screaming......so so funny. The frog is unharmed and has been put on my garden to go and eat some slugs
He has been there all night, I'm just glad the digs didn't find him
Ive never experienced Scottish midges, i hear they are a force to be reckoned with! I dont get bitten very often so maybe that changes my view on things!

Next time I'm in Lanark I'll give you a shout Lesley and we can do chippy lunch if you like
I don't use the rose at the moment as I just put the water at the vase of the plant without it, but thank you
Right....swimming, not putting it off any more!!
Love that pic OL, so funny!
OL - considering they like cool, damp environments I'm not sure what that says about your hubbie's trainers...

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Lol about the trainers. Can just imagine OH screaming like a girlie
