Later arriving home tonight following an impulse hair dresser stop. We have a new salon opened where everything is £10. My friend had her hair done there at the weekend with no issues so I thought I'd pop in. I now have no roots Hurrah
Hi all, glad you are presentable Panda. Only read what is on this page so soz if I've missed stuff.
Me and OH have had a lovely few hours with Fidget
Her garden has changed so much since my visit in May...was lovely then with late spring flowers and now Summer has arrived big fashion
We had refreshments outside and on a feeder not four feet from OH we had finches feeding and then a robin who seems to have acquired off floor feeding skills. He/she visited a number of times Squirrel visited and more birds than we could count came to garden feeders. Bit early in the day for the foxes Hedgehogs had left a few pressies on the lawn.
I'm not as wildlife friendly as Fidget as I'd be miffed about the vole scoffing my cucumbers
Not only have we seen great plants /flowers but impressed with her veg & fruit which I tasted en route. Also we have home made jam for our toast in the morning
OH also got a turn in the swinging thing & no he can't have one !
Came home and watered pots and spent a leisurely time on patio podding peas which have now been eaten
Have a great evening all and hope you sleep as happily as I will.
OH might be a bit restless as concrete coming in morning for GH base, joking two neighbours have offered help and we have their wheelbarrows already on site.
Evening all, i never had toys like that!!!! Kids these days dont know their born what about one of those posh swimming ponds stacey? You could have a posh slide going into the posh pool, just need to move somewhere hot so it can be used for more than one month each year!
Clari, you cant catch a break at the moment!!! Hope your ok, i perscribe a long afternoon in a beer garden, that will make everything ok
No idea what everyone else was talking about, have done spin and am far to tired to use brain!
Evening all. Too much to catch up with and comment on but love the snake pix Dove. Poor little froggy but - that's the wonderful world of wildlife eh?
Just as well we didn't have St Swithin's yesterday - very wet here all afternoon and last night It's done the plants a world of good but we could do with a lot more. Been unusually dry here for the last 4/5 weeks.
Been very busy at work so not done much outside since Sunday. Been getting on with timber 'boxes' for the apple trees - one completed and painted so will hopefully get the 2nd one finished and get them both planted at the weekend, weather permitting. Screen to make for the bit inbetween for clematis etc. It'll be nice when I'm not doing so much building and can do more footering with plants. Still have paths and a grass area to do at some point.
Off to see what's what now that I've had dinner
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
