That's really lovely Bill. Difficult for you to look at just now perhaps, but it will be a great source of pleasure for you in time. Glad Mrs BIll is ok image

OL - was it you that wanted an oak leaf Hydrangea cutting? I haven't forgotten about it, but there's not enough suitable growth for me to take any right now so I'll wait a little while before I do it. They flower in late summer rather than spring so I don't really want to start hacking bits off until I see where all the buds are image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Good to have you back Billimage  It's been a busy and worrying time for you especially with your wife being unwell.  Glad she is recovering now. Super Dave's garden is a lovely thought by his colleagues.

The sun is out so I'd better make the most of it and get the trowel out.

Never taken seeds from flowers before (except sweetpeas) think my foxgloves have some but not sure how to get them off.....they look like little round pods image

They will ripen from the ones at the bottom, look at them every day, they will start to split, and have thousands od seeds, very much like poppy seeds, but even smaller, i hold an envelope under and cut the seed pod from the stem, try not to shake the plant of you will end up with foxgloves all over the place image

Bill, so pleased to see your post. Did wonder if anything was seriously wrong.

That is a lovely tribute to your son, you both must be really happy that he was thought so much of by his collegues.  Best wishes to you both and hope you stay well. image
