Morning all, gosh you've all been busy bees this morning, trying to catch up just on this mornings posts LOL!

Daisy, glad little Daisy had a good trip to London, my little man is soooooooo excited, it's worse than waiting for Christmas, his is a 4 day (2 night) trip though and seeing 2 shows.

Just been to wave off big man who is doing his first DoE silver expedition this weekend, weather forecast looks good for Derbyshire, no rain and not too much heat which is good, he is walking about 16 miles a day for 3 days and his rucksack weighs a tonne, he will be home sometime Sunday evening shattered image

Bekkie, Scarlet Sauce is like a posh cranberry sauce I make at Christmas, a Mary Berry  recipe image I usually make a few jars as it keeps quite well.

Lily, how many days of actual working?  It won't sound as long as a month... about 8?

Can I just say if anyone does win the lottery, you are my best friend and there is a lovely ross called Gertrude Jekyll at DA image

Still no sign of Bill, punk (wasn't he going on holiday?) or Rosemummy yesterday either.

Have a good day everyone x

I need to figure out whats going to go with what, the spot im thinking of is northish facing, still gets enough light to grow roses, the main colour was dictated by a red filbert, so also have a few plummy coloured heruchers, then there are pink and cream roses, foxgloves, a few hardy geraniums, big dasies and ferns, really just what i had to hand which i tried to organise into some sort of coherent plan!

I wonder if a white dahlia would fit best? image

Hi RM, don't worry about the rose too much, you have enough on your plate.  I'm sure I can manage to save up £12.99 at some point.....in fact last night as I was putting another bunch of sweet peas on the kitchen table, I realised I am saving a fortune in flowers, well about £10 a month as I always buy flowers in Aldi for the kitchen table and haven't needed to, surely that's worth a new plant???

Big man is on his way to Glenbrook Activity Centre which is in Hope Valley, that's where they will be setting up camp each night but walking during the day.
