Took lots of pics of the garden as gonna need you guys lots if and when the time comes Just having dinner then will try and do later as a bit of palaver for me to post pics
Hope you are all snuggled in bed now KEV with milk and whiskey
Still got the conkers panda so will post no probs
Fingers crossed for your mum Verdun that you get the nice new home for her xx
Oh Yviestevei you must be shattered and you was up so early too Hope little ones let you have restful evening and early night
Evening all, apologise for doubting banana cake recipe - it was gorgeous (sorry all note the word was).
Been very busy all day, got my bulbs planted, did quite a bit of hoeing and gave the 'expert' a guided tour. Lots of info too, seems I have a Liquid Amber Tree and a acanthus I wasn't aware of and have taken notes of how to better care for everything else. Nice expert agreed with my plan for rose garden and rock garden - phew.(She did add that if it fails it will only be my own fault).
Also managed to get out for a run (only 5k), have gone and got myself committed to running a race on the 26th, just 9k he said - eek! Hope that banana cake adds strength and stamina - carbo - loading is my excuse.
Anyway, well and truly ready for bed - goodnight all, best wishes to all.

Hello all. Just wanted to share a proud mum moment. Earlier this evening, my 3 year old was excited to tell me that compost is a type of soil made for growing flowers. Hurrah for the next generation of gardeners!

Good luck with that decision Verdun, I know it's a toughy.
KEF, throwing out your clothes coz you don't want to iron is a bit extreme
Hope you find your smile soon and we get crisp autumn days soon
Banana cake sounds good
Hope your appt goes well BM - not sure I replied about conkers, if you could still send them that would be great
If they are in the bin, no worries
Did note loads of things to comment on but they have all fallen out of my head
It's the cold, damp and dark that's the killer

On the other hand go out on a bright frosty morning and it's magic
