I haven't got sunstroke, been raining and just had a small thunderstorm. Funny thing was that when in England I got caught by the sun when wearing a low necked top. In France I garden in the sun and nothing happens.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Ok, so I used to read these books about brumby horses in Australia, they were written from the perspective of the horses - by Elaine Mitchell. The main character was a Silver Brumby and I wanted to be a brumby horse. They were amazing There were 5 books in total I think.
Panda, I'm glad you put us straight....you don't even want to know why I thought you wanted to be a horse I just kept thinking about a gram I went to one year when our eldest was a baby......my MIL couldn't keep her eyes off one of the horses, quite worrying really
I'm not at all jealous if those going to Hampton Court (I think that's where you said??), have fun, especially Woody with his new friend
Had a lovely walk with my hounds this evening, about 4 miles ending in the field up the lane where they cooled off in the pond. I noticed lots of blossom on the blackberry bushes so am hoping that this years crop will be better than last years useless effort....didn't even make any jam last year. I also found a lot of elderberry bushes that I hadn't seen before......I need to find elderberry recipes
Oops, little man has just called down to say I'd left the iron on.........
