I heard that too Lily. I was sorting wires under Dad's computer and found a conker in the corner that I thought had been dropped but he said it was to keep spiders away. Didn't see any cobwebs so perhaps it does work

Morning everyone, Not late getting up, already done mums shopping and been to war with a GP's receptionist, visited mum and had a natter shes much better now that they found out she had been taken off her diabetis medication 'by mistake' at the hospital!!! Pity its taken them from June to realise!
Fidget, I could suggest you make marrow rum, but I wont. Hubby tried it once after he bid for the biggest marrow I have ever seen at a harvest auction. It hung around (literally) in our pantry for what seemed like months, cost us an absolute fortune in brown sugar, and smelt the house out before I decided I had had enought and threw it out. It was disgusting.
Just having a quick cuppa before planting a few more pansies. Cant say I'm totally cut up about Jason, not a Take That fan. As long as Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jnr keep singing their hearts out I'm a happy woman.
Don't you find most GP receptionists are awful! Don't think I have ever come across a nice one! Prob gonna get it in the neck for that comment Is true though
