I'd forgotten how many pages there were until I read it to my daughter. Good thing she wasn't into Harry Potter as well. At least she can read that to herself!!!
Well i wish i could escape to boarding school for a few days sanity lol! Im not sure about patience of a saint but i try. As for the garden being my escape,it hopefully will be after i have it sorted out, the front is getting there but i have a lot of work to do in the back. Never went to boarding school and cant say that i ever had much inclination for it but i suppose growing up in the sticks gave me lots of other adventures.
As far as I know, no-one here has been to boarding school. Just on a fantasy trip from books we read in our distant past
You really have your work cut out Alison so just take it one step at a time. Don't even think it can be done in a season - mine is still progressing after twenty odd years

My cousins an I used to play "Famous Five" but there were only three of us and we didn't have a dog. Real life kicks in sometimes

Lesley I can make cakes too, and if say so myself, my pavlovas are scrummy, my boys love my chocolate one with strawberries or raspberries
We'd have a great tuck shop as well as a pretty garden.
So can I garden or do tuck shop and miss out lessons
Would love scones and cream, thank you muchly
