  • Good morning all image  Thanks for all your concern.  No more news from Bro so hopefully that means Pa is safely tucked up in his bed at The Lovely Home once more.  He said he'd only phone me if there's another problem.  He'll visit them later today.

Morning all. Big sigh of relief for you Dove. image

Chicky - the trees here are now going all crispy with the prolonged dry weather although they've been turning beautifully for the last month....but ....at last, we've had some rain overnight and more to come tonight and Thursday. image

How weird to be relieved at having rain here image

  • Misty here which is a bit of a surprise.image. Today a friend is taking me on a mystery tour, so will report later always assuming it is legal.image.Not much time for gardening, but may do a bit of tidying. One of my trees is shedding loads of leaves on my terrace.

Woody - I hope you don't get up to any mischief... image

I had to remove a large spider from the stairs last night - youngest was being a right big girl about it image

It now has a nice new home in the garden. That's the second big one I've had in the house recently.  Makes me wonder just how big the new 'giant invading spiders'  are!

    Good morningimage

Nice morning here but it really is autumn.  The leaves are drifting off the trees in even the gentle breezes.

Morning all.  Hope your father had a quiet night Dove!

Another glorious sunny day - but its autumn equinox! 8'C last night and my the house is chilly this morning. That heating isn't coming on til October though - that's the rules!

Best get the greenhouse tidied up so I can start moving things back in. Plans to dismantle this one and rebuild it next to a second greenhouse appear to have slipped down his to do list somewhat. Still - he is doing work on my new company car for me so I shouldn't complain too much. I'll try and get you a photo of my new car - I think it'll give any of you who gave had to travel through rush hour in Sheffield quite the giggle!
