Beckie & Dove, thanks for your concern. Dove I'll be visiting Boots tomorrow morning on my way in work To get some of those supplements. I thought about visiting the doctor to see if they could test my immune system but of course it'll never be right unless I can bleach all visitors as they come through the door.
Hope it helps Bekkie - give it a good couple of months or so to take effect.
It's a lovely sunny morning with blue skies - I'm meeting up with my daughter today and we're visiting my Aged Ps so won't be on the board most of the day. OH will be here in charge of things like washing on the line and getting ham and cheese for pancakes

Clari, not sure if they are as good, but i ordered some from tesco, they were two pound...something. might be worth a trip to the doc anyhow, i thought i was ok til someone told me to get my vit D checked (apparently you have to ask for this test, its not done as standard) and it was low which is very weird considering how much im outside. Oooo wouldnt it be nice if we could bleach everyone!
Clari daughter got them wherever she could find them - I'm sure Tescos are just as good.
As you probably know my last job involved visiting lots of schools and seeing lots of children - whenever someone new joined the team they always started going down with lurgies for the first winter - after that they'd built up an immunity - the rest of us who'd been there for ages hardly ever caught anything

Can I actually put things in the ground today instead of dithering about so much?
Have a nice day at the Ps Dove, oh and I forgot to mention yesterday, I understood what you were talking about with your daughter's MS. My husband is in recovery from what they now call CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) same symptoms as MS and caught the same way. He had a virus that he just couldn't shift. So I'm totally on the same page as you with that one
And Lesley..lots of plant buying please I think it was you who mentioned a GC visit due today?
Morning all..... I'm away on a much needed holiday!! My garden has been trashed we got rats under the chicken coup and had to dig it up to treat it ( which was slow and resulted in me obtaining an air rifle and taking matters into my own hands!!) so we will need to redo all of the lawn when the weather improves.... When I left my chilli lab was thriving it's all gone very mad growing hydroponically and under lights etc .... Who knew a t5 kitchen light could produce the results it has. I am just venturing I to wild untainted chillis and a friend in Sweden who is the leading authority is sending me more seeds!!! I have also just obtained a new chilli seed not yet available in the world let alone the UK as it still isn't stable!!! Hark at me rubbing shoulders with developers of new strains!!!!
Looks like my monarda died this year sadly but then a lot of the plants in the borders seem to have suffered the mild winter!!! But on the other side the agapanthus bed seems to be doing ok! I have been letting the chickens out this!! It was with much excitement that the day before we came away I planted out 18 of the hellebore seeds that I grew 2 years ago.they are crossed as well ... I'm hoping for flowers next year!!!!
And with a sad heart I had to have the cat put down on Friday. He had cancer which had got too bad. He stopped eating on Thursday so I felt it was time. ABE had been with me 18 years ( longer than mr d!) but as his pain left him I reassured him he was and always be loved ..... RIP abe..... When we get back in March it will be time to get the polytunnel up..... If I could I would post pics to bore you all......
