You will be banned, @B3, you know boiled eggs are not allowed, BREXIT might be safer.
How can you lie there and think of England

You may get away with that depiction of your boiled eggs.

I think that the previous discussion contained a photograph of a boiled egg which was releasing an emission.

Given the time of day that it appeared my guess is that it might have been a nocturnal emission and so bordering on censorable.

In my experience of the forum, a thread goes way off piste when it's in its death throes. A lighter touch and a little patience and it would've died a natural death anyway.

The problem arises when, as I’ve said before, someone somewhere makes an allegation of an illegality … eg racism … my understanding is that Immediate Media is legally bound to act. The possibility of ‘a light touch’ doesn’t come into it.

Possibly. I didn't notice anything like that , but then I wasn't looking for it.

What regular GW forum posters feel to be perfectly ok and just a reasonable discussion can, to others, feel like racism … either overt or ‘coded’ … particularly when international tensions are heightened as they are at the moment.

And all it needs is the allegation … GW staff cannot be expected to have the specialist legal expertise to say whether or not something will be decreed to be racist if someone were to take the website to court … I imagine that the best they can do is to remove whatever
    pist has triggered the allegation.

As far as I can see it the  alternative would be to limit posts to gardening only.
