Garden Gallery 2024

Hi fellow gardeners! Our calendars have turned to a new year... and our gardens have turned a new leaf. ;)
I'm opening this new discussion so we can post lots of illustrative pics of our gardens. I'm starting with pics taken this very morning.

Thank you @Papi Jo. Looks as though you have daffodils in bud already! My first ones in Dordogne are only about 3 inches tall. Parts of my garden are like a bog after all the rain so gardening has been quite difficult. I'm behind, compared with last year. I have heeled in bare root roses in the vegetable garden waiting to be planted. When I moved to this house 3 years ago there were only 3 roses, now I have 44.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

we hit -6C in north London last night. I'm glad I decide to rush out and fleece lots yesterday. The temp low matched the lowest recorded here last year. It seems that much of the UK is frosted or snowy for a few days. Any pics to share? Stay warm. ❄️

Very odd my daffies came out a couple of weeks ago before my snow drops which have just appeared in my front garden which surprises all the passers by myself included.

Yeah, we've got Camassias through before Snowdrops or Daffs!

I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful
