It's all very exciting @Papi Jo . She has her first garden and has sown her own seeds for the first time this year, in a little south facing planter on the street. It lights up the street. It's been a terrific success. I'm more impressed than they are, I think.  :D Hopefully the memory will stay with her - all the colour, bees, seed shoots, scents and shapes - and it will encourage her to grow, even if it's something she comes back to in later life. We've put in poppy seed  and bulbs for next year. Lots of the plants from last year should self seed and/or carry over to this one.
